Luxury townhome project underway near Bishop Arts

At least three for-sale townhome projects are underway near the Bishop Arts District, and some of the homes are expected to sell for around half a million dollars.

Groundwork has begun on Larkspur’s Elsbeth Townhomes at the southeast corner of Neely and Elsbeth.

The company’s website describes them as masonry walk-up townhomes, which are “designed to reflect the character and history of Bishop Arts by using complimentary design elements. The exteriors will feature patterns of red brick with black windows, cast stone window headers, and gooseneck lighting, while the standing seam roofs will provide a contemporary element.”

And at the northeast corner of Tenth and Adams, a developer recently demolished an office building to make way for 17 modern townhomes.

When we first announced that project last year, they were expected to cost around $440,000.
